Whenever we give loans, we will explain to you the repayment process by way of amount
tenure and periodicity of repayment. However, if you do not adhere to repayment
schedule, a defined process in accordance with the laws of the land will be followed
for recovery of dues. The process will involve reminding you by sending you notice(s)
or by making personal visits. Our collection policy is built on courtesy, fair treatment
and persuasion. We believe in fostering customer confidence and long-term relationship.
Our staff or any person authorized to represent us in collection of dues will identify
himself/herself and on request display to you his/her identity card issued by Religare
Finvest Ltd. We will provide you with all the information regarding dues and will
endeavor to give sufficient notice for payment of dues.
All the members of the staff or any person authorized to represent Religare Finvest
Ltd in collection of dues would follow the guidelines set below:
The customer would be contacted ordinarily at the place of your choice and in the
absence of any specified place, at the place of your residence and if unavailable
at your residence, at the place of business/occupation.
Customer's privacy would be respected.
- Identity and authority to represent would be made known to you at the first
instance.
- Our representatives will contact you between 0700 hrs and 1900 hrs, unless
the special circumstances of your business or occupation require otherwise.
- Your request to avoid calls at a particular time or particular place would
be honored as far as possible.
- Time and number of calls and contents of conversation will be documented.
- Customer would be provided with the information regarding the dues and necessary
notice would be given for enabling discharge of dues.
- During visit to customer's place for collection of dues, decency and decorum
would be maintained.
- Inappropriate occasions such as bereavement in the family or such other calamities
would be avoided for making calls/visits to collect dues.
- Demeanor that would suggest criminal intimidation or threat of violence would
be avoided.
While written communications, telephonic reminders or visits by Religare Finvest
Ltd representatives to the borrower’s place or residence will be used as loan follow
up measures, Religare Finvest Ltd will not initiate any legal or other recovery
measures without giving due notice in writing.
