Mrs. Sabina Vaisoha
Non-Executive Independent Director

Mrs. Sabina Vaisoha holds Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Punjab University. She has been associated with India’s leading news network, New Delhi Television (NDTV) for over 18 years. During this period, she has been a part of some of the most revolutionary and cutting edge programming and national events like the Elections, Fiscal Budget and Awards.

She is currently working as consultant with Network 18, on nationwide campaigns to spread awareness of important social issues to bring about a change in society.

She joined our Board as an Independent Director on August 16, 2018.

Mr. Malay Kumar Sinha
Non-Executive Independent Director

Mr. Malay Kumar Sinha has done his B.A. (Hons) and M.A. from Delhi University in Humanities and M.Phil from Madras University in Strategic Studies.

He started his career as an Executive in TISCO, Jamshedpur and in 1981 joined the Indian Police Service. After serving in UP Police and IB, MHA, in different capacities, both in India and abroad, he worked as Joint Secretary in the MEA and finally as Secretary Security, Cabinet Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan, from where he superannuated in September 2016.

He is an alumnus of FBI National Academy, Quantico, Virginia, USA and National Defence College,New Delhi. As Joint Secretary in the MEA he had led the evacuation of Indians in Bengazi area from the sea during the war in Libya in 2011. He has been a keen sportsperson and was Secretary of All India Police Sports Control Board for several years. He is a recipient of Police Medal for Meritorious Service and President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

He joined our Board as an Independent Director on August 16, 2018.

Mr. Sushil Chandra Tripathi
Non-Executive Independent Director

Sushil Chandra Tripathi (born on 01/01/1946) MSc (Physics-Firlass first), LLB, PG Diploma in Development (Cantab), AIMA Diploma in Management, began his professional career s an Asst. Professor of Physics in Allahabad University (1964-68). He joined IAS in 1968 (2nd position in country) and retired from service on 31st Dec 2005.

He served in many positions in State Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and the Govt. of India during his long service career and spent nearly twenty years in Finance and Industry sectors as Chief Executive/Head of Department or Secretary to Govt. In UP, besides being Dist. Magistrate, Almora (1974-76) and Aligarh (1977), he was Officer in Charge Mahakumbh 1976-77, founder CEO of NOIDA township (1978-80), Managing Director Industrial & Investment Corporation of UP (1980-85), Secretary in the dept. of Rural Development, Panchayatiraj & 20Pt. Programme(1985-86), Heavy Industry, Taxation& Institutional Finance (1992-93) and Commissioner Agra Division(1993-94) before getting elevated to Principal Secretary Industry (1994-95), Principal Secretary to Governor during President Rule(1995-96), Adviser Industry & Finance (1996-97) and Principal Secretary Finance(1997-2000). In Govt. of India, he served as Joint Secretary, Banking (1986-87), Secretary BIFR (1987-88), Joint Secretary, Eco. Affairs (1988-89), Minister, Economic & Commercial, Embassy of India, Tokyo (1989-92).

He later became Addl. Secretary, Mines (2000-02) and CMD BALCO (2000-01) as well as CMD, NALCO (2001-02). He worked as Secretary to Govt. of India for nearly four years, two and half years in the departments of School Education & Literacy and Higher & Technical Education and one and half year in Petroleum & Natural Gas. After retirement, he is associated with a number of think tanks in Education, Energy, Economy and Governance. He is also Independent Director on the Boards of several Public Sector and Private Sector Companies. He has also been Chairman, Board of Governors of two National Institutes of Technology, Calicut (2005-11) and Surathkal (2011-14). He is a Fellow, Energy Institute, UK, Fellow, Institution of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineers, India, Life Member Indian Institute of Public Administration, Member Computer Society of India, Professional Member All India Management Association, Member Institute for Constitutional & Parliamentary Studies, Member, Indian Council for Arbitration, and a Member of Supreme Court Bar Association.

He joined our Board as an Independent Director on November 09, 2018.

Dr. Rashmi Saluja
Non-Executive & Non-Independent Director

Dr. Rashmi Saluja is a doctor and an entrepreneur. She is an MBBS, MD & MBA (Finance) by qualification. Dr. Saluja has administrative experience of more than 25 years, setting up institutions and being involved in social and charitable activities. She joined the Board of Religare Finvest limited on 12th March 019. She is also the Executive Chairperson of Religare Enterprises Limited, a Core Investment Company (CIC), registered with RBI, that caters to customers across a wide spectrum of financial services, through its subsidiary companies across Lending, Broking & Insurance.

Dr. Saluja has been leading the Religare group from the front, through challenging times, to build a strong and integrated financial services Group.

KYC is one time exercise while dealing in securities markets - once KYC is done through a SEBI registered intermediary (broker, DP, Mutual Fund etc.), you need not undergo the same process again when you approach another intermediary.

Such individuals/ entities demand cash or fund transfer to an individual bank account or purchase of a new insurance policy for processing the loan application. These individuals/ entities are fraudulently and illegally misusing Religare Finvest Limited’s corporate name and/ or brand names to lure the General Public and are harming both, our reputation, as well as exploiting the General Public. By way of this notice, we intend to caution the General Public against such elements. The General Public is advised and cautioned not to rely or act on any such fraudulent offers or sanctions made in the name of RFL without verifying the authenticity of the contents with RFL.
